Having viewed some post here it is obvious there are
many B/P makers past and present that i have never
heard of. Anyone know of a collectors group that collects
old B/P or even B/P containers. :hmm:

hello snakeyes i had an old aunt that died last year she was in her 90s and she lived on this old farm well it was like stepping back in time a 100 years the entire place was an antique old blacksmith shop with all the tools old farm implements and so on well one day im over there visiting and she says she has this problem and wonders if i can help her she has an old can of black powder now this is a really big can of black powder i think 20 pounds and it says cannon powder and i sez yes i can help you i will take care of that plus it even has like a half a pound of powder in it well that was probably like 15 or 20 years ago and i still have it stored away i will find it and report back though i think most of the writing is faded

saw some on the antique reloading tools site a while back.. have bought 2 or three containers off auction arms, etc type sites.

There is still the ruins of the old King's mill powder works in Cincinatti. A freind of mine managed to get into one of the buildings still standing there.
