Wow! a source for square headed bolts and nuts! Years ago- back in the late 70s, I helped a friend build a full-sized CANNON by making 144 Square Nuts from steel stock, a hacksaw, drill press and drill and taps. It only took me one full evening- but I have delighted in being able to buy common Hex-nuts at the hardware store ever since! :hmm: :grin: :thumbsup: It proved to be very good training for using taps.

LOL it looks like my Dads work shop! He has coffee cans full of junk like this. The other day my son and I went to my dads house and was looking for some bolt and my son said “Wow” old metal coffee cans!”
