Horn and Strap

Very nice strap. Almost has a horsehair look to it in the pics.

I finally completed the weaving of a strap for a powderhorn I turned the plug and installed the valve. The valve accepts a 1/2" adjustable powder measure. No spillage of powder. While not Period Correct (PC), it will be accepted at my club's out of the bag matches.

I used a paddle loom as the heddle for weaving the strap. Hadn't weaved anything for a while and wanted to weave my own strap for the horn.View attachment 375121View attachment 375122
