Prizes are placed on a blanket.

Winner gets first pick, second goes next, and on and on until the last person gets the last prize.

Everyone wins something.

Depends, mostly BP shooting related..

At some shoots, donated things is stuff that folks hand made.

Other shoots is stuff that folks purchased and then donated.

Purchased stuff often is things a person has and then has no need for.

At times you will find used things as well.

Normally a minimum value of $10 is set.

Generally rather then a entry fee the price is a object that is offered. Last month’s blanket shoot at our club had a nice hand made patch knife, a large turned walnut bowl, a modest sized belt knife, some quick loaders with a box of ball, and more. Most things of $10 or more and a few things closer to $50. These fellows often are to generous other groups are more in the $10 to $15 range.

We run a blanket shoot at a private event held each Oct. everyone who enters the shoot has too put a handmade item relating too the F&I period, made bye the entrant on the blanket as a entrance fee, as stated first place in the shoot picks first and so forth, there is no set price or value limit on the items, There are some very good craftsmen and women who I shoot with so even last place will get a good prize,They are a lot of fun and great shoot.

I've seen some amazing blanket shoots items. A few guys will try to not put much on the blanket, but a lot of folks will go overboard and put items up that are way over the price range. Blanket shoots can be very interesting !!

Our rendezvous club puts a blanket shoot on via an x-boards match. It's always a ton of fun. And everyone that competes gets a prize so that encouraging lesser skilled shooters to join the fun.

Cheap is as cheap does.

When there’s a blanket shoot there is generally some price range. I’ve never seen any blankets with out Iran’s worth at least twice as much as the fee. I’ve picked up some good stuff off of blankets.
And it’s always nice when you win something good to say ‘ yeah I won that in a shoot’😊
