Charlie Hahn, Gary Barnes (hoofhearted on this forum) John Zimmerman are three that I have used and can recommend. Goons gun works (on this board as 45D) I haven’t dealt with him.
I have a pair of Uberti 1860 Army done by Goons Guns and they ae as reliable as a suppository gun. The pair have a little over a thousand rounds total ( I keep a barrel record on them) and the only change Imade is a lighter main spring and Slixshot cones. Try as i might there as yet to be a cap jam. Remington #10, CCI# 11 and RWS 1075 have been used. The 1075 caps are not a good fit on slixshot cones and there have been a few second strikes but no cap jams.
He is not the fastest smith there is but his work is excellent.
Respectfully,
Bunk

Thanks Cap. and Bunk! I'm working on the speed thing Bunk!! Lol I'm in my "happy place" now so things run quicker than before. I don't spend time figuring out "better" anymore . . . got that taken care of !!!!! LOL !!!!

So it's a Navy stock? It uses the extended hammer screw with cap ? All you need is the notch in the bottom of the back strap?.

Mike

If you'll send me the back strap I'll cut the notch for you. No need to send the revolver.
