Thanks guys.I was on the web site. I was trying to E-mail him and keeped getting it back. So I guess I will try calling. :hmm: Got this funny urge to get a underhammer.Maybe I'm :youcrazy: :)

He doesn't seem to reply to emails. His site hasn't been updated in years. He does answer the phone though. I know he has no more underhammers. He might still have parts. I was sure wanting one of the guns too. I hope someone will start making them again.

From what I've heard, he makes custom actions on a case by case basis. They're very pricey though. This is second hand information from someone who contacted him a couple months ago. Looks like the affordable underhammers are gone until the next incarnation.

:hmm: The fact that he does not answer e-mails nor telephones has been quite typical of Blue Grouse for a few years. It is sad that Deer Creek has quit the H & A style underhammer kits. I know my .36 Calibre Heritage is one great gun and the proverbial "tack-driver." Ya never know pilgrim, they may just arise again........ :hatsoff:

Ya when he yelled at the people that made those (ALL the Uhs )for him they just shut the line down and we all lost some great cheap rifles, the Mowrey, 90 buck drop in barrels for the H+As,ect. Fred :hatsoff:

I think the days of cheap anything is gone from what
I can see.

How cheap is cheap?

I wonder how much we would be willing to pay for a
plain in the white underhammer action only.

Dont know, you can make the frame out of about anything, but the parts (and its just 3 ) might get ya. I sold my last unused new one about 3 months ago for 165 compleat. Fred :hatsoff:
