Blue Wonder Cleaning Gel/Blue Wonder Armadillo

Anyone use either of these products? The first one is supposed to clean blackpowder residue....fast! The "armadillo" is supposed to leave a superior protective coating on stock and barrel that doesn't attract dust or come off from handling. :hmm:

I haven't tried the Armadillo, but the cleaner and cold blue are excellent. Too bad they don't make a browning solution. :m2c:

Slamfire- Blue Wonder's "blackpowder cleaning instructions" on their web site say to use a bronze brush. I don't use brushes, just jags-n-rags ::. Do you think the stuff will work with cleaning patches and no brush? The only thing that cleans my .36 H & H barrel quickly is MAP and thought I'd try an alternative.

I just use water an a bit of Murphy's Oil soap, haven't needed anything else. Hoppe's #9+ has a good reputation. :winking:
