Saw a Euroarms Volunteer with slightly corroded rifling yesterday. Just about the first thing I thought was whether or not Mr. Hoyt could turn it into a .47 caliber to use paper patched. Got out of there while the money was still in my pocket.

I find all this very interesting , due to I have been looking for a GM Barrel 1:70 for my TC .54

Could he re bore a 1:48 .54 To A 1:70 .54. Or would I have to go up another cal. in order for him to have more material to work with.

I talked to him a month or so back about having a TC .50 bored out to .54, and he said he could give it whatever twist rate I wanted. Just haven't gotten around to mailing it off yet.
