Does anyone remember the name of a F&I war movie starring Boris Karloff as an indian chief?

 I remember the movie but not the name. It's the one where Gary Cooper fooled Boris with a compas whose needle was attracted by the Tomahawks and knives in Boris's belt.

It was partially filmed in Cook Forest, PA. We have a camp there and it was fun to see and recognize some of the local places in the movie. I remember that it was directed by Cecil B. DeMille, and along with Cooper and Karloff (not real believable as an indian chief) was Paulette Goddard and Ward Bond. Not one of the best movies despite the major players and director.

No worse than Chuck Connors role as Geronimo (1962), just how many blue eyed Apache chiefs were there anyways... :hmm:
