Bought a Flintlock today

I posted pictures elsewhere but this posting is limited so, here are the pictures, if I don't screw this up. It's apparently a TVM rifle and I paid $400.00 at the Filer, Idaho gun show. Ok, so try #2, here we go!

It's a little "pimped out" to my liking but hard to pass up. He had another one(caplock) for same price but my funds were too short. Quite a few muzzleloaders there.

.54, straight barrel-weighs a ton!

Very nice. Great find. I'm sure others will point it out but do check that there's not powder and ball in the barrel.

Yeah, good idea before you check for spark! Thanks! She’s all clear, looks like the thing has never been shot. The guy told me it belonged to his Dad and he didn’t know anymore about it than that. His name was the same as the engraved name on the side plate.

I would of went too the bank, and bought both of the guns, sold the one for 800 dollars pocketed 400 dollars and had a gun for free.

There was a lot of muzzleloader stuff at this one. Bags, horns that sort of thing.
