Nice!
You got a dang good deal from a dang good friend!

Bring some of that oil next time we get together so I can sniff it.

Cowboy, I'm sorry for the loss of your daughter. I've been down that road too and wouldn't wish it on anyone.

You have a great friend there.

Very nice Cowboy, congrats and enjoy. Now you can hunt up a 12 gauge barrel for that NE and use it for small game.

PS - As others noted the caps are RWS, 1075's, still available but always the most expensive. I always regarded the RWS caps as the hottest on the market, though some of the new magnum caps may now be hotter. I still use the RWS 1075's for hunting, CCI for targets, as the CCI are about half the cost of the RWS.

Reading what you do for your friend and what he does for you is a refreshing taste of how things should be. Reading about how you lost your child is devastating, but it was relieving to know you had/have a friend who understands you and how to help you out.

That sure is a cherry looking rifle, I hope it serves you well!

That is sweet. Looks alot like my white mountain carbine. That exact
gun exce in .54 Was the first gun I bid on when getting back into traditional muzzleloader. I'm glad you finally got a deal Mr. Cowboy

I'm glad he put a spark in you bro. Your a great man. I remember the spark you gave me when I opened the package of roundballs you sent me. They are the most accurate in 2 of my .50 calls. As stated I've created a spark in my ex father in law he just bought him a tc hasten. I'm doing all the clean up per your instruction and now get to teach another what you have taught me

Good catch! I don't know why they didn't get more popularity. I put mine together as a 12 ga kit and added a .50 rifle barrel. It's the only percussion m/l I much use anymore.

The large trigger bow & single trigger was a good choice some years back when I was out in -15°F and killed a whitetail buck. For many years I carried mine during the regular gun season. A handy and reliable deer killer.

Good stuff, Cowboy. Those little transactions between friends are the best. That rifles got some meaning behind it.

Even better than the rifle is having a friend such as that. Outstanding all around :hatsoff:
