Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
Thanks! I found this site and am perusing its threads trying to find info that will point me towards a high quality Flintlock rifle. There sure is a lit to learn!
I used to live in Moyie springs and Copeland in the mid 80s. Hope to get back in the next few years if the current rapid growth doesn't make it undiserable. I worked as a grunt for a cement crew building a huge log home in Good grief behind the bar. It was good times back then. Bought a woodstove in Bonners from Meeker blacksmith, wish I still had it. Best stove I ever owned. I used to really enjoy fishing both Brush and Robinson lakes.
broke my heart when they shut down Meekers machine shop and tore down the building.
i have had several Meeker stoves. heat, cook, dry clothes. they did it all. that shop was one of the last to use a main shaft and gang drive flat belts . was like stepping back into the 1880's.
