I live in Md and need to buy some black powder. Haven't shot it before but really want to try it. Anyone know where I can find someone who sells it?

What area in MD. are you from? I think you could get some black powder at HENDERSHOTS a sportshop in Hancock MD. not to far away from Fort Fredrick
Hope this helps, Trinity

I'm in Southern MD. I wish I asked this question a couple of days ago, I just drove through there on Thursday on my way to PA. I'm about 3 hours from there

If you ever come to the Baltimore area , Clyde's sporting goods on Hammonds Ferry Rd. in Landsdowne sells it .

If you are up near Chambersburg PA, you could try Fort Chambers Muzzleloading Shoppe there. It is the same exit as the Chambersburg Mall just off of I-81.

Clark Brothers in Warrenton, VA sell Goex BP too. That's where I bought mine a few times and I live in the DC suburbs of MD. Fifty miles one way.

Steve

No sports/gun shops that do BP in Prince Frederick ? If you ever find yourself in Waldorf, Fred's Sports ( http://www.fredsenterprises.com/ )is as close to a "full service" BP shop as you'll find in Southern Maryland. A one pound can of 3F goes for about $22 there.
