Very interesting Zonie, it seems he moved the cock and frizzen to the inside of the plate. Must have made for a unique stock because the wood must have needed to swell out that additional thickness. I'd like to see a complete gun with that lock. VEEERY INTERESTING.-- :hmm:
 
I have seen something like this one time when I did a google search for an Austrian Jaeger. It was an early 1800's military gun and everything on the lock was internal. Kind of weird looking actually. Unfortunately I don't have the link so you may have to google it. However not a bad way to kill some time looking at cool old guns :grin:
