brass buttplate warped.

Hello,

While working with my brass butplate last night I noticed the top leg is warped. maybe 1/2 inch from the plate itself and 5-10 degree's at most. Any ideas on how to straighten this without alot of touchup work?

Figured I may have 2 options, brass hammer and a vise, option 2 is a blowtorch to heat it up and use option a.

I bend buttplates every which way. Clamp it down in your vice and use a large crescent wrench and tweak it to where ever it needs to go.
