Brass caps from the 50-60's stick, what to do??

Hello All,
I'm shooting brass caps from the 50-60s that are short in lenght and come in the little red plastic round containers. Many times they stick to the nipple after firing and I have to pull them off with pliers. I tried pollishing them but to no avail. What can I put on them that will stop the sticking?? Thanks.

Why not chuck the nipples in a drill press or hand held drill and use emery paper to polish and reduce the diameter of the nipples slightly for a better fit?

Use more aggressive sandpaper, or a file.

Emory cloth and drill motor. That works to reduce a nipple. Also get a side vented nipple that pressures the cap loose when fired.
