Any suggestions on where I can find brass metric 4 screws for a lock? I have tried my local hardware stores with no luck.

Why brass? They used iron, back in the day. TOW has many different sized screws, including metric.

I wouldn't use brass screws. They are not as hard or tough as steel, and as mentioned above, were not used. You should be able to find the steel screws without a problem.

Thank you for the information. I suppose I am just looking for the color, not necessarily brass.
