Do be very careful. TOW told me you can go to 10-32 but after looking closely at where the snail is undercut to go over the lock seems kind of shallow to me on my rifle. They advised another option. Having if welded shut by a precision shop only telling the shop the welding rod must not contain nickel or stainless. I'll do that only if my oversize 8-32 does not work. Best of luck.
