broken .062 drill bit removal?

Sounds like a lot of work. Why can’t you just use a 1/16” punch and just drive it through? Can’t be much holding it, and barrel steel is pretty soft.
Maybe I missed something?

Sorry, Now USPS says it will be delivered Sat. They must slow down when they get to your neck of the woods. The mail is always late when your are wanting something, but never late with a bill. Well that is the way it works for me.

I have also chucked in another bit and drilled another bit out as well.
