The Main Spring on my 30 year-old L&R Durrs Egg lock broke . Is there a place to get a hardened/ready to go replacement? I don't have the experience to harden one myself.
Thanks for any leads.

I believe mine is cast steel. (They evidently had many breaks from being cast; my original broke a year after I got it). Is the face plate hardened do you know?https://www.muzzleloaderbuilderssup...=4996052.35308&next=75&product=L&R_lock_parts

TOTW Mainspring, right, tempered steel. For L&R Durs Egg locks assembled with the folded metal spring. This folded metal spring and requires drilling a new mounting peg hole in locks originally assembled with the wax cast spring. - Track of the Wolf
