Can anyone id the manufacturer of this lock? Got my build finished and when i had it all together noticed it would not cock correctly. When I took the lock back out I notice the tip of the sear is snapped off. I honestly can’t remember where I purchased it from it’s been so long ago but I need to order one.

As a public service announcement, snapping the set triggers on half cock or dropping the lock while on half cock and landing on the sear bar will do that. It is usually the notch but it could also be the sear nose that gets broken.
One weird thing. He told me that lock had a replacement tumbler in it that wasn't his. I bought it new in a kit I think in 2014 and never completed it until now.

Steel bed rail is hell for stout...better material strength than regular angle iron. cut you a new sear from bedrail.

There is an expert in Idaho that strongly recommends snapping the set triggers on half cock in his videos when adjusting them, so it must be a good idea as he shoots longer ranges than most.

It is very cool that someone still machines out locks made back in the 1600's. Imagine forging it out. Larry didn't charge me anything to fix this. He said he doesn't do credit cards but I'm going to mail him at least the shipping back to me.
