A guy on another board was given this trashed pistol that a friend retrieved from the trash. He is looking for a stock, I told him to glue everything back together but I don't think he has gun building skills. It is a Pedersoli, do any of you know a source for a replacement stock and possible a trigger guard?

I told him to contact Pedersoli but thought I would check with the experts as well to see if anyone had one.

It's a pretty clean break and would glue back together well enough. It also appears that the trigger guard took a heavy blow also and would have to be straightened or replaced.
I looked at the photo again and it looks like the trigger is bent also.

That is an odd break, even the RR. Any guesses or ideas how it may have been broken? Two things come to my mind. 1. Personal destruction! 2. A drop where the nose cap hit first on a solid object.

Another possible source for a replacement stock would be "Flintlocks etc" They are a Pedersoli dealer in the U.S.

The new guy sent me a message; he is gluing the parts back together, he forgot my info on annealing brass and tried straightening the trigger guard in its hardened state, a move that broke it into pieces. He said he found a similar guard at Track.

So, no one knows why the thing blew in the first place?
And you gonna feel comfortable shooting it with new stock wood & some minor (???) hardware?

I would think contact the manufacturer and send it to them for a little overhaul and checkover. That break was a severe collision with something.
