Buffler Horn finished

Here are the pics of the buffalo horn I've been working on. It ain't fancy but I hope you like it

also I know this one ain't p/c but here is my next one with a brass screw tip

I've still got alot of work to do on this one :hmm:

Soggy, the finished horn is 10 1/2 inches around the curve and just under 3" at the plug.
the spout plug was turned from the cut off tip of the horn.

Now that I got the horn done any Ideas for a strap?

I use a strap made of smoked elk hide. Some of my horns have a finderwoven strap on 'em.

Thanks all, they sure are a lot harder to work than a cow horn but I think I found a new past time when I can't be shootin' :grin: Now I just need a supply of horns.
