That's a fine blunderbuss, it just depends on what period you want to represent. The one you just pictured ir post 1800, that's why it has no sideplate, they were out of fashion by this time. Earlier guns had sideplates. You can go stylistically with any british fowling piece of the period you want to build, they were mounted the same as the Blunderbuss's were.
 
Here is one that is proported to be from 1720s

track of the wolf has some nice looking ones I am considering. going to wait for my orde to arrive first and check out the book then made up my mind.
