Yes, Investarms same maker as the Lyman muzzleloaders. I have a Cabela's Hawken, other than the rear sight, I like it.

Sorry, don't know what size the nipple is. Mine still has the original in it, never really checked. Suppose I ought to find out and get a spare!

Mine is a very good shooter, one ragged hole groups at fifty yards. Can't get much better than that! It is a fifty caliber, I only shoot roundballs. I also have a fifty four caliber Lyman trade rifle in flintlock, also made by Investarms, that shoots as well. The Lyman has fixed primitive sights that don't move around like the adjustable sights on the Cabelas Hawken.

Made by Investarm, same as Lyman plains rifle (different than Lyman GPR) except patchbox and lock plate engravings. Rarely in 62 smoothie (only seen a lyman), lots of 58-45 cal, 58 cal rarer than other rifle cals.

Most parts exchange/are very close to TC hawkens. Davis trigger will fit both. Gm barrels will too, might take a file on the tang/breach/under-rib.

Some Charles Daley are also investarm products, interchange same as above. Be careful with these though, some CDs were made in Spain to different specs.

P.S. yes very decent rifles, I think the TC is made better though and I've a few of each.
