Just wondering if I could borrow and use a 45 and 50 muzzle coning tool from someone. I don't have enough ML's to make it economically beneficial for me to purchase two muzzle coning tools. If anyone is in Southern Indiana or knows someone in my area that has one I could borrow, I sure would appreciate it.

Where are you located in southern Indiana? I am in Hodgenville, Ky and have both .45 and .50. Only takes a couple hours to do one.

This is a brass hose nozzle that has been sitting in the tool cabinet for years and years, about twelve or fifteen dollars these days. Cutting the abrasive materials to suit, holding it on with string and turning it by hand are really easy. I doubt that alignment is a worthwhile concern but I used patches over the outlet end to center it in the bore. I did the initial cuts with large sized grit and then polished with finer grade.
