Get a Cabelas Credit Card and it will not tie to your accounts, do not like nothing automated myself. Went to Taco Bell last week and the guy at the counter hollered out order at the kiosk so I turned around and went home and made a PB&J sandwich. Saved me quiet a few trips to the john. I enjoyed reading your posts.

I, too, only deal with cash or checks. My credit cards are only used for hotel rooms and gas when I'm on a long trip. And, I certainly do not do any financial transactions on-line!
And yet, I've been here since 2003, although I only have about 800 posts. The only things I can't read or respond to are in the Premium Member section. I would gladly get a premium membership if they would take a check, but they don't, so - No big deal.

PAY THE SITE USING THAT CARD THEN TAKE A PAIR OF SISSORS AND SHREAD THE CARD. sorry about the caps. I like you do not like using a card for much, but we best get used to it, the day is coming where there will be no cash, check type transactions. There's not going to be any cash period it will all be electronic transactions.

I got one of those reloadble visas last week. Ebay wouldn't take my check.Accidentally bid on an item and did not get outbid now I'm stuck with it. Oh I too am a non-supporter but I'm still here.

Last time I purchased a book of checks was about 20 years ago. Now down to the last one. Pay damn near everything using my bank's website. Been doing it for years with no trouble.
If they are going to hack your bank it won't matter if you write paper checks or use eft's. That is what FDIC is for.
