I own a Euroarms Brescia .44 cal. New Model Army pistol which I haven't fired in 20 years. I'd like to again, but can't remember the preferred cap size, etc. Can anyone advise? Thanks!

Wish I could help but there is a lot of variation in nipple size of the Italian revolvers, some take a #10 and some #11. The brand of cap also makes a difference, Remington #10 is not exactly the same as CCI #10.

One option would be to get some new, upgrade nipples- then you'll know what caps to use with them.

Coyote Joe...what is the difference between the CCI and Remington caps as far as size? Which ones are smaller? I am having some trouble with an 1849 31 cal I have. I am trying to find a small cap that will clear the cylinder as it cycles. Just very tight. I have everything from CCI 11's and 10's and Remington 11's and 10's. Along with some Dynamic Nobles...not sure what size by my guess is 10's.

Thanks,
Steve

Thanks guys! Looks I'll do some (safe) experimenting. Think I'll start with new nipple sizes.
