What do most people use and which guns use what caps?

Depends on what size nipple the manufacturer used on the ML oif course... but "Generally speaking", #10s are used on cap & ball revolvers and #11s are used on longarms...usually

Usually 10 's on revolvers , 11's on long guns and my 2 non revolver pistols also take 11's . As far as brand I use ONLY cci brand , but the only reason is because nothing else is available in Central OR .

Same as the others. #10 on my revolver and #11 on my long arms and single shot pistol. As for brand, I only use Remington, cause it's all I can find locally.
