A couple of years ago, maybe 3 years ago I splurged on a box of 1k musket caps for maybe $65 with tax. At my local gun shop. I don't shoot that many in my Sharps but I am so glad I did.

I got 1000 musket caps from Buffalo Arms today. $130.00 plus about $21.00. I'm a happy camper on this one. I don't know how much I'm going to shoot the 1858 Enfield but I've got all I need for awhile, and that's worth a lot.

During the last percussion cap panic i bought Remington #11 caps from a store in El Reno at $30.00 per thousand.
