Check Walmart in in small towns. I was in Newport TN a month or so ago and bought the last two tins they had on display. Hopefully they restocked. $4.94 a tin for CCI #11. No wallyworld near Houston (that I have checked) has any black powder supplies.

Good luck! I’ve been trying to get some CCI #11’s for months. Unfortunately there’s guy’s out there with 1000’s of them & they keep buying more every chance they get! I’m down to about a dozen caps. I do have a tin of the “magnums” I might have to try if I completely run out.

There are some things you should know. First, you listed this as a "For Sale" item, when it should be under Wanted. Second, it's not a firearm and is in the wrong category. Third, buying or selling caps (along with black powder and substitutes) is not allowed here.

Your 1842 Harpers Ferry musket will definitely take musket caps, unless someone changed your nipple.

Probably not without a lot of pinching them tighter on there. The musket caps are significantly bigger.

I also believe that traffic in caps is forbidden by rule #11 in the classified "rules"

Got my Schuetzen caps. They are a little big for my 1842 HF nipple but I squeezed them down and the hold the nipple jut fine. They fire nicely.
