Nice! With a projectile or just a blank round? I was just wondering how the frame/carriage handles the recoil if fire with a round ball.

It’s quite heavy. No issues. I have fired both. Bread wadding seems to have more recoil.

I don’t know the exact weight of it but it is about 20 lbs. so it does not take off when fired.

Also I should add, the barrel is not difficult to remove for cleaning purposes.

I don’t think it could be close to equal to a full scale swivel gun however for outdoor table top firing it is fun.
