My memory is shot and I've come up with nothing on searches.

Can anyone recommend a source of custom cast brass parts?

There's a fellow who lives in NE PA that shows up at the Dixon's Faire, but for the life of me I can't remember his name.

Thanks in advance.

Heck, I was hoping this was a thread on casting your own parts. Oh well.

It something you can do with a good coal forge and the right tools. I have not done it in twenty years but have been wanting to get a pot and some foundry sand and start doing it again. Check in your area for a small brass and aluminum foundry and they should be able to help you our. There in one in Centreville Michigan that may do it for you if you want to travel that far.

Story, don't know where you live but there is a foundry called Cattail foundry just outside of Intercourse PA ( :shocked2: yes that is a real town name) that does all kinds of small casting jobs. They can give you advice or cast anything you want done.

Me too! I am wanting to do some brass casting. Guess I'll have to do it on my own and do my own research. After I learn , I'll post my own thread.
