Well Stumblinwolf, I just put together the last trade gun made with the last of the original North Star (Curly's) inventory. I worked for Curly for a dozen or so years and kept inventory for common TG's, so he could call and say"build such and such." I discovered I had enough left laying around to make what I am calling "My tribute Gun" to olde Curly Gostomski. Even though I still build pistols for Matt at NSW I did (and I know "mountain men ain't spose ta do it)got a tear in this olde eye when I finished it. But you are indeed right. Although Curly used contract builders, just as Matt does today, one of the "old Curly" guns is a treasure to have.
 
I know you will be very happy with your choice. Keep us posted on how the gun shoots and dont forget a picture or two when you get it.
