Midway still has them, just have to make sure you click on the correct link for the MAGNUM CCI #11
CCI Magnum #11 Caps
I'll give your post a bump. Thanks for verifying that the Magnum caps are still in stock. I just checked, too, and Midway still has them.

For anyone reading this, click on the link in the quoted section above from @Gunny5821 . It will take you straight to the caps.

It's called hoarding! Once that consumption monster is released it's hard to get back in the cage. I wonder how many people that just bought from Midway already had several thousand caps in the basement?
HazMat fees almost force people to buy way more than they need. How many guys are ordering one or two thousand now that would be buying one or two hundred if they could get them at a local shop?

Correct, and Midway does have a limit of (1) Box of a thousand per customer, so if you purchase these, you'll have to buy a 1,000, no more no less. Plus, if you buy today (today's shipping special), although you will have to pay hazmat, their regular shipping charge is free for orders over $49.00.

I intend on swapping my rifles over to musket nipples since musket caps have been more available, and save caps for revolvers and pistols. If you shop around, for the first time, musket caps are cheaper than percussion caps. Grafs has the Schuetzen Musket caps for $91.99 and with their shipping and hazmat that's $124.88 per 1,000. Scheutzen's caps are made by Rio, which is a high quality ammunition manufacturer. Rio shotshells are the only shells our Shrine shotgun team uses, as well as the majority of other teams we shoot against. Rio makes everything in house.

I've been on the phone with walmart coorporate trying to find some and they have no idea what I'm talking about. I gave them SKU #'s, UPC #"s and even told them what stores had them, no luck. How can these stores be getting shipments of something coorporate knows nothing about?

I picked up 1000 yesterday at the local Walmart for less than half of midways price.
My 4H shooters will at least be able to shoot part of next summer now!!!
You got 1000 magnums that cheaply??? Some of you have some truly magical Walmarts around you. No matter where I live, my Walmarts suck when it comes to ammo and BP supplies.

Free shipping doesn't apply to this item though.

I didn't realize that this item didn't qualify, I didn't pay attention since I also ordered over $50 worth of Hornady lead balls. It's still amazing that lead balls and bullets are eligible and ship free. So as TrapperDude said, if you order $49 of eligible items, then the shipping is free, all you have is the hazmat charge.

Dear Trapper Dude ...PLEEZE keep what you know to yourself from now on ..I am now $150 lighter in the hip but I got maganummms coming for my rifles
For give me Father for I have sinned.. spent my kids lunch money .. (kids are age 55, 53 and 51 ;-) )

Well, I'm not the priest to whom you confess, but if it helps any, I forgive you.😁

I called earlier this week re BH209 , sporting goods dept. Said they never heard of it. Went in with the wife, deviated to the hunting dept and found three jugs. Nobody knows anything...
It's unfortunate that a lot of sporting goods staff aren't into the activities for which they sell equipment.

I've got 4 Walmarts within driving range (<20miles). The smallest & nearest has a sporting goods dept run by a gun savvy guy so it's normally well stocked... even has a fairly good selection of firearms. However percussion caps remain among the missing. Dave, the gun guy, tells me they're coming and to keep checking 'cuz they won't last long.

Thanx to Trapper, I got an order into Midway. Not cheap, but they'll help me get my Hoarder's merit badge. Next is the Wreckers badge...I'm a cinch to get that.

I may have been a little harsh. But I was already fired up. I called diff stores for a total of six calls and only got one person to speak with. When I asked the clerk in the store why nobody answered the phone, he said we don't hire for that position.
