Get ready for sticker shock, the are going for 14 dollars a tin plus 19.99 hazmat plus 9.99 handling fee for ups so 500 caps will cost you 100 dollars. Personally I still have almost a thousand left so will wait and see if the prices come down as other retailers get stock in
Have you come across any Remington number 11's anywhere? The cci's fit loosely on the nipples of my NAA super companion. They recommend Remington 11s but I've got Remington tens right now that are working okay
last July I found CCI caps at local Walmart for less than $ 5.50/tin of 100

I shot with some old CCI caps, and had numerous FTF.
I took off the caps, and there would be a round flat obstruction on the nipple hole.
Is there a covering or skin over the charge in CCI caps that could come loose and block the nipple?

I purchased Remington 11's online at Bass Pro for $14.00/100. Delivered to the store,couple weeks ago.
I have also been using some old (20 years) CCI caps and they do the same for me. I keep a nipple pick with me on the firing line so I can clear the nipple. I made a mistake when I found an old can partly full of caps and dumped them in with a fresh can to save space. I have learned to check the finish on the cap before using them in a match, the older caps have turned darker. I try to pick the darker color older caps for practice.
I have a couple hundred CCI caps from who knows when, probably from the 70s as that is when my friend who gave me his stuff was heavily involved in B/P.
These caps go off most of the time, don't seem to be as hot as modern caps, when I fire one before loading, they are half as loud as modern cap, they plug nipples on a regular basis. I will use them up over time shooting at targets but wouldn't trust them enough to hunt deer with them.

I think you ought to check local stores that sell BP supplies, if you have any near where you live. New product is hitting the market. I've had no problem finding caps hanging on pegs for $10 a tin. Bought some today, actually.
