I would not be suprised to see em listed at $15.99 a tin. Look at gas? Highest ever here and......nobody is bitching? Lotta distractions....wink winkI wonder if the price will raise equal to the gouging prices of the past year.
https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/74062Hell I can't even get Rifle primers for less than $120.00 a thousand and they are supposed to be making them! Been waiting for over 2 years for primers to load my 45/70.
Kinda makes you wonder how good of caps they are. They can be cheap, but they don't do you any good if the place doesn't have any.I have been buying my #11 caps at Wally world for years, mostly half price at the end of the year. Have 4 Walmarts in my area and none of them even got caps in this year.Started asking clerks in August when they usually get the caps in.Yes, we are getting caps in in Sept.,they never showed up.Keep in mind , most of the "gouging" is done at the retail/middle man level . I bought several tins from my local Walmart the last two years in August/Sept. and they were $5.32 per 100 cap tin. No hazmat, no shipping, no gouging.
Ya, Graf's hasn't had any centerfire primers for 2 years, then when they get them they are some unknown country. I am from Northeast Iowa, and I can get primers if I want to pay $200 to 300 a thousand. Not gonna happen.https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/74062
About the only option for LRP's right now.
Where are you located?
