Chambers stock finish question

Anyone ever use laurel stains mixed with chambers stock finish? What are other options that could be mixed with chambers finish? Im planning using iron nitrate, but I’m hoping to get a reddish color.

I personally use stains separately. But others may have input on the mixing technique.

You can experiment with your stain, cut it with alcohol, maybe add some red ocre powder to get the shade you want.
