Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
My spelling might be wrong ,but has anybody had any experience with a Charles Dailey percussion rifle? Who made them? Are they any good? Any info apreciated.
If you'll search back on this site (perc) a few months it will come up a few times when others asked that I havent seen on for awhile, it is a well made rifle if I remember right. Fred :hatsoff:

 I just putrchased a .45 cal charles daily if you get one as accurate as mine you will not be disapointed it is a little heaver than some of my other guns but that could be the cherry wood stock :winking: and the bore being smaller than my .50 cal's the barrel is heaver but a real tack driver good luck
I have one in a .50 cal Hawken it is a older one, has a 1:60 twist, much heavier than my T/C .54 Renagade.
Mine is a tack driver great shooter. Tried 3F Goex, mine likes 2F Goex..
mine is 1:48. nobody believes me though. :blah: however i hated the original sights. had one of those adjustable rear sights and it was all loose and floppy :cursing: went and got williams truglo sights and :cursing: cant adjust them enough to get on the bullseye. im wanting to just find some appropriate semi buckhorn that is solid and usable. anybody need some truglo sights? :yakyak:
seems ok to me. i dont have a lot of experience in the muzzleloading realm. that is my only bp rifle and the only one i have ever fired. havent been able to get too far on determining the load i like or tuning the accuracy on account of the sight issues. maybe i will be able to get that done before next deer season. its only a year away you know. anyway havent had any trouble from the rifle itself. just me learning and dealing with little things along the way. i will say i like it better than some i looked at prior to purchase.
