The flinters are cheap. I've seen a cased pair of Boss shotguns sell on this site for $150,000. Check the prices under "rifles" and "shotguns". That's where the big money guns are. Two or three years ago they had a Purdey sxs flint. It wasn't as nice as the Moore or Smith but sold for around $60,000 if I rightly recall. It even had a replacement hammer but hey... it was a Purdey.

Do you mean Purdey as in a brand name or purdey as in "that shore is a purdey sxs flint," or "It even had a replacement hammer but hey it was shore a purdey." I work with guite a few of purdey girls :crackup: :crackup: :winking: :crackup:
 
He means Purdey, the manufacturer! Not all Purdey guns are purdey, and not all purdey guns are Purdey! Ya got that? :: :crackup: :crackup: :thumbsup:
