I made this little cherry handled boot knife for my wife's sister.
I don't think I will be grabing her from behind.
TOO BAD she is a little cuttie.
The blade is a soligen the handle is piece of cherry that was left over from a gun.
sorry the first pic was blurry. I wanted you to see the detail.

You can see in the second pic the detail, very nice work.
What did you start with, i see the blade is a unique shape.

Too bad you do not have an image of the sis with it tucked in a garter! :shocked2:  :hatsoff:

Real nice looker, (er the knife). :applause:
I hadn't seen the girl but will take your word for it! :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

I bought the blade from TOW. I made the rest of it, the brass was just a 1" round bar.
The spacer material and thin brass sheet in the middle added a nice touch.. it's blind tapped and threaded.
She is a small delicate woman, so wanted a smaller handle then normal.
That tapered round fits very well in the hand and makes conceling it eaiser.
I will ask her where she plans on carring it
Don't know if I dare ask for a pic, she would probably send me one, but don't think I could get it past the wife :cursing:
