Usually you can bring your own spotter target and put the "scoring target" where your balls hit.
You can't see the fine X-line at 60 yards. If you know how your rifle shoots in relation to a spotter you can design as you like to get the tightest group, you should be fine. Depending on the specific shoot, shaders are allowed. Depending on how good the competition is, a 1" group of five shots is almost mandatory to get any early trip to the price table.
Often there are several "prices", like "closest to the X" and best "aggregate string" etc.
