I would have liked one of those Colt 1855 .56 Caliber 5 shooter Carbines - but they went a little beyond me. $6-10K 😢

Ah, well - makes me feel slightly better knowing they weren't at all popular when new. They spit lead slivers off to the side so holding it forward of the cylinder wasn't a good idea. Some troops were even told to load only one cylinder at a time to prevent chain fires. 😁

But they sure do LOOK cool.

It's pretty easy for me to resist buying.

a. I live in UK where antiques have to be justified and registered before you can shoot them.

And b. I'm poor. :(
