I just noticed that the LOP is listed as 12 and 1/2 inches. Seems pretty short , is that measurement correct?

don't know who he was but that name was on a lot of Amercian made rifles in the 50s-70s

Who was "Dockendorff" if I may respectfully inquire ? SW

I wondered that too, seemed familiar, and from other sites it was "Dockendorff and Company of Oronoque,Conneticut" that made sights in the '40-'50s some for the military, some for Savage/Stevens.
