What's the best way to clean old dirty mildewed leather? Can I just put it in warm soapy water and gently brush it? Then let it dry good and put some leather conditioner on it?
I picked up a leather Swiss Army Rifle Bandoleer (sp?) from the WWII period and it needs a good cleaning.
