Could someone tell me where I could buy a cleaning rod made for a Paterson revolver, 71/2 in. bbl. How bout the one advertized in Dixie gun works? Thanks much. Teton Ted

Ted,

Not sure if you want a replica of an original or not? If you do, then the Dixie rod is the closest thing I know of without having one custom made. However, I am NOT sure whether it is threaded for a jag and if so, if the threads are Metric or not. If metric, you can get jags and brushes, but they are going to be harder to find and maybe more expensive.

However, I don't bother buying special cleaning rods for revolvers or pistols. I just use a modern sectionalized rod that is sized to fit the screw threads on the brushes/jags/mops I will use.

FWIW, modern .38 cal. rods, brushes, jags, etc. will work quite nicely for that pistol.
