Hi. looking for some ideas. I have several pinned barrel guns. I dont remove barrel to clean. I'm thinking of building some sort of stand or cradle to hold the rifle. Thinking two small sawhorses with padded "V" notches. Trick is that one side higher than other by about 10". Plug touch hole and fill barrel with water. muzzle would be higher than backside. To drain and wipe muzzle on low side. Anyone built anything like this?

I’ve never heard of something like this. Howsomever were in this for fun. If a stand like this would be
1: fun to build
And
2) handy for you to use I say can’t wait to see photos

i have thought about the same thing for a couple of years, but i have never done it. i do have a gun cradle made from oak wood my brother made placed the way you describe on my gunsmith table i use in the exact same way. but i sit it in with the barrel/muzzle end lower so excess fluid can drain out. you see i don't use water to clean my guns so that's the way i do it and it works good.
