Howdy Folks,

I'm looking for some points of contact for businesses or people who offer color case hardening. I haven't had luck with my local gunsmiths and wasn't thrilled with the turnaround for the bigger company's online (Turnbull, etc.)

The first thing I'm looking to have hardened is an unmentionable shotgun receiver/frame but I generally have parts I need hardened every other month or so on the BP revolvers I build/restore.

Thanks in advance!

I've always had good luck with Doug Turnbull. Turn around time wasn't bad, and reasonably priced. He is a proven man for doing great work. Considering how much time it takes to get pretty much anything a person orders from anyone, his time is well in line with any vendor.
