I have a little problem. & wondering if anyone has any ideas for me.
My original Colt 44 army has its arm spring broken:(
Now I live in New Zealand & spares are pretty much impossible to source.
I was wondering? If the Italian reproductions have the correct handspring as the original?
Even that could prove difficult to obtain. But where there's a will there's a way..
Has anyone made up a spring & mangeed to press it into the hand out there?
I'm thinking a clock spring cut down or something.
Soooo small & I'm not sure I could? But nothing is impossible.
Looking forward to hearing your views.
I'm actually suffering from the Covid right now & just thought..why not ask.
I'm going a bit rough on it actually. So if I'm not answering. Please forgive me.
& thanks in advance

The most common repair, without buying new parts, is to cut one from a bobby pin.
