I´m finishing a Colt Navy 1851 from CVA. The revolver is a brass frame .36" calibre Navy.
¿Does anyone know the recomended ball diameter?
¿.375" or .380"?
I have to purchase the mold an I don´t know what diameter to buy.
¿Can a RCBS mold be used in Lyman handles)
Thanks

Most use a .380 but the best way to tell is to swag it.

Push a ball into the chamber and measure it, then push one threw the barrel and measure it.

I had one and the more common .375 were a bit to easy to push in i never did order any .380s to try though i wound up trading it for a .44 and i like it better now i only have to use one size ball
